After completing his education at Amity University, Noida, Saurabh Singh began his professional career working in various agricultural industries. During this phase, he closely observed the poor condition of farms and the hardships faced by farmers, which deeply impacted him. Rather than ignoring these realities, he made a bold decision to dedicate his life to agriculture—not just as a business, but as a service to society.
Coming from a middle-class family in Patna, Bihar, Saurabh’s journey into entrepreneurship was far from easy. In his locality, the idea of launching a startup itself was considered a big risk. Financial constraints, the presence of well-established brands, stiff market competition, and constant criticism posed serious challenges in the early days of Narayana Farmers Agritech. However, Saurabh’s stubborn determination and unwavering belief in his vision kept him moving forward.
The journey was filled with ups and downs. There were moments of doubt and times when people questioned his decisions. Yet, he never stopped. Instead, he chose to learn, adapt, and work more closely with farmers, understanding their real needs on the ground.
His perseverance paid off. Under his leadership, the company witnessed remarkable growth, with its turnover rising from ₹25 lakh to ₹3.8 crore in FY 2024–25. Today, Narayana Agri Solutions has achieved a significant milestone, reaching a market valuation of over ₹10 crore, establishing itself as a trusted name in the agricultural sector.
Reflecting on his journey, Saurabh Singh says that building the startup was never easy, but ignoring criticism and breaking societal barriers helped him turn the impossible into possible. He credits his father as his greatest inspiration, whose constant support and belief played a crucial role throughout his entrepreneurial journey.
