Renowned dermatologist Dr. Asawaree Takalkar from Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar has been selected for the prestigious “State IMA President Appreciation Award” which will be conferred during the State Indian Medical Association Conference to be held at Solapur from 14th to 17th November 2025*.
This recognition honors her remarkable contribution to healthcare, community service, and public health awareness through the Indian Medical Association (IMA).

Dr. Asawaree Takalkar has played a pivotal role in several key initiatives under IMA Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, including community outreach, women’s health programs, and emergency response training. She has consistently demonstrated leadership and compassion in bringing quality healthcare to underprivileged communities.

- Conducted *health camps for women sanitation workers* focusing on blood pressure, diabetes, and reproductive health awareness.
- Led *health check-up drives for municipal waste collection workers* alongside IMA members.
- Actively participated in the *“Aao Gaon Chale” Rural Health Campaign*, offering free dermatology consultations in villages such as Dinapur, Murma, Mahakala, and Adgaon.
